
Jason S. McCormick

Jason McCormick plays a lead role in achieving exceptional results on behalf of clients at Tobias, McCormick & Comer. As a licensed attorney for the last two decades, he has dedicated his career to serving the Mobile, Ala. community.
Jason has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients, acting as lead and co-counsel representing plaintiffs in numerous cases over the last 20 years. His practice areas primarily focus on trucking accidents, workplace accidents, burn injuries, automobile accidents, product defects, and insurance fraud/bad faith.
Born in Montgomery, Ala., Jason was raised in Long Beach, Miss. He completed his undergraduate degree at Millsaps College where he received several honors and was a 4-year letterman on the football team. After college, he worked as an environmental consultant at a civil engineering firm, conducting hazardous materials site assessments and wetlands evaluations on numerous projects.
In 1999, he received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he was the Executive Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal, was on the Staff of the Journal of National Security Law, and served as a Research Associate for the Sea Grant Consortium; he was also published in various journals.
Jason has given several Continuing Legal Education seminars in his areas of practice and has published several acclaimed articles within the legal industry. Additionally, he is AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating of legal skills and ethics. He is also listed among the Mid South Super Lawyers for years 2012, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and was recognized as one of the Top Attorneys in Alabama by the publication Business Alabama.
Jason and his wife Ashley have two children, Isabella and Sage, and live in Fairhope, Ala. When he isn’t practicing law, he enjoys coaching, saltwater fly fishing, mountaineering, and distance running.
